CEDE ARUBA, in collaboration with 'Stichting Koninklijke Nederlandse Kinderpostzegels', is looking for a Regional Manager to support the implementation of an exciting multi-island program focused on strengthening the resilience of children, youth, and communities in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
During a period of 3 years, you will work closely with regional implementing partners in Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, SABA and Statia, supporting program implementation, strengthening local organizations, and facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange across the islands.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor progress and support implementation partners
- Organize meetings, workshops and partners visits
- Strengthen capacities of local Organizations
- Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Support communication and coordination in the region
- Identify risks, challenges and opportunities
- Support the tracking of progress on all Island and report back to the funders
- Facilitate and support the reporting of the regional program based on KPI's
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree / Master's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with project or program management
- Strong interpersonal skills for listening, understanding, and clearly communicating with partners and organizations from diverse cultures
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi disciplinary environment
- Affinity with social development and the Caribbean context
- A proactive and client-focused attitude
- Willingness to travel within the region
- Active in staying informed on sector trends and understanding their impact on the program
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Dutch (Papiamento and Spanish is a plus)
- Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office
