Responsibilities
- Support neighborhood organizations in developing (annual) programs and project proposals for external funding within the applicable program frameworks
- Write grant and funding proposals for various funders and financing partners
- Organize and coordinate networking meetings with project partners and participants, and support partners in organizing meetings in their own neighborhoods
- Provide practical guidance and support for the implementation of programs by neighborhood organizations and initiatives
- Conduct evaluations and prepare reports on completed projects, providing feedback to local and international partner organizations, and advise on program development based on results
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, community development, or a related field
- Experience with project-based working methods
- Solid understanding of social developments, NGO activities, and the specific target groups of CEDE ARUBA
- Excellent social skills and the ability to build and maintain sustainable relationships
- Team player who can also work independently
- At least 3–5 years of experience in organizing projects or programs
- Excellent verbal and written skills in Papiamento, Dutch, and English (Spanish is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license (B) and access to transportation
