ERASMUS+
Erasmus+: a dynamic EU program fostering international cooperation, cultural exchange, and skill development through youth exchanges and training courses.
Erasmus+ is a flagship European Union program that supports education, training, youth, and sport. Within Erasmus+, youth exchanges and training courses are vital components designed to promote international cooperation, cultural exchange, and skill development among young people.
Youth Exchanges under Erasmus+ provide opportunities for groups of young people from different countries to come together, share experiences, and engage in various activities. These exchanges aim to foster mutual understanding, intercultural dialogue, and the development of skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Participants, typically aged 13 to 30, have the chance to explore new cultures, broaden their horizons, and build lasting friendships during these immersive experiences.
Training Courses, on the other hand, target youth workers, educators, and other professionals involved in the youth sector. These courses offer a platform for sharing best practices, enhancing skills, and staying updated on innovative approaches to youth work. Training courses can cover a wide range of topics, from leadership and project management to cultural diversity and inclusion. The aim is to empower youth workers with the tools and knowledge necessary to create impactful programs and initiatives for young people.
CEDE ARUBA regularly organizes training courses for youth workers and youth exchanges, in collaboration with other youth organizations. We aim to enable as many youth organizations as possible to work with this program.
